Download inventories by client

| In this article, we'll go over how to keep track of how much of each product your clients have.

From the web portal, you'll need to click on Reports and goals, then select Download Inventories by client:

This screen will show you your client's inventories and how much they have of each of your products:

You can click “Show” in each column to check the current stock of each product in the client’s possession. You can also download the current or historical inventory file, which you can filter by product family or by individual product.

Another way to find the client's inventory is by clicking on Loaded inventories on the client's details:

Or when looking at the product's details, you can click on Client inventories to view how much of each product your clients have:

Import prices by client

| In order to start this process, it's important that you have already created your products.

In Handy's web portal, go to the Main menu and select Products.

There, you'll see a list of your enabled products. Click on Import prices by client:

This will take you to a screen where you'll be able to download an Excel template. In the first step, you'll download the template either empty or with your current information. Once you've decided if you want to include current data, click on Download.

After downloading, you'll see a screen reminding you which fields on the template are mandatory. Click on Continue.

Open the template using Excel. Add your new data or edit existing data.

Can I print tickets for orders and payments?

Yes! Handy allows you to automatically print sales receipts when recording an order in the mobile app, as well as payment receipts.

Handy works well with the ESC/POS standard, universally used with almost all printers.

We also have specific integrations with TSC and Zebra printers, which are more expensive but also higher quality.

Some examples of printers you can use are:

ESC/POS:

Epson
Bixolon
Other printers compatible with ESC/POS

Zebra:

MZ-220
MZ-320
iMZ-320

TSC:

Alpha-3R.

These printers support 2" (48 MM) and 3" (80 MM) wide tickets.

When pairing your printer with Handy, you'll need to select the printer's language and the size of the ticket that corresponds with your printer's model:

Create clients in the mobile app

Mobile users can create new clients from their mobile device in the Handy app's main screen. 😊

Once you've clicked on the + sign, select "Create client"

This will open a new screen where you'll add the new client's data and select which zone they'll be in. The app will automatically fill in the location data, but we recommend you verify it.

After filling out the client's information, Handy will ask you whether or not you'd like to start a visit with that client at that time:

NOTE: All new clients created using the mobile app are saved as Leads and will automatically turn into true Clients once an order is placed.

How to add a notification recipient

A notification is an email sent to let you know that something has been finalized, such as an order being placed, a delivery being completed, or a visit being concluded.

If you're interested in setting up who can receive these types of notifications, you need to go into the settings screen on Handy's web portal. You can find it on the bottom left part of your screen with a gear icon. ⚙️

Then select the Notifications tab. Now, click on the following button, which allows you to add new notification recipients:

There, you can determine who gets notified and what they get notified about. Finally, click on the Save button to save the changes made.

If you want a certain Form to be sent to a specific user, this is very simple to set up. Go into the notification recipients, select Forms, pick from the list of available forms that will be displayed, and select which users you want these to be sent to.

This is especially useful if you want a service survey to go to Customer Service, while a billing form to go only to Credit.

How to read closed-route data through the API

You might need to know when a route is closed and which sales were carried out in that route. Here, we'll explain how to do this:

Step 1. Get the routes

Make a GET request to this endpoint using these parameters:

https://app.handy.la/api/v2/route?includeSalesOrders=true&filterWithDate=dateClosed&start={start}&end={end}

With this request, you'll receive the closed routes within the dates you specify.

As an answer, you'll get a JSON with all of the route's information, as well as a field with the route sales IDs, which will look like this:

Step 2. Get information on each sale

Make a GET request to this endpoint for each sale ID.

As an answer, you'll get a JSON with all the sales details.

You can manage this information as you prefer. Save it in your database, create a report, sum all totals, etc.
