Suggested quantities in an order

🛠 How does it work?

The first step is to enable the option to Sync suggested orders to mobile app.

This will allow that in the next step, when uploading a file, the information syncs automatically to the mobile devices.

2. 📤 Load information via API

Currently, suggestions are loaded through Handy's API.

You'll need to upload a .csv file with these 3 columns:

• Client code
• Product code
• Suggested quantity

3. 🔄 Mobile synchronization

Once you've uploaded the file:

• The information will be automatically sent to the mobile devices
• It can sync automatically when logging in or manually in the mobile app

4. 📱 Mobile app view

When creating an order in the mobile app, the user will see the button called:

👉 Add suggested products

You'll be able to add to the order the suggested quantities by clicking this button:

🔴 Rules and validations

All suggested quantities go through a series of validations to ensure their consistency, control, and alignment with the system's rules. It's important to keep the following points in mind:

🔢 Limit of products per client

Up to 10 products will be processed per client.
If the file surpasses this limit, only the first 100 products will be shown.

🔄 Decimals and fractions

The system will respect the company's settings:

• If the setting is disabled and the file contains products with decimal numbers, they will be automatically rounded up
• If the setting is enabled and the file contains products with decimal numbers, they will be respected

🚫 Control of duplicates

If a product appears repeatedly inside a client's file:

• Only the first log of the product is considered
• All other repeated logs are discarded automatically

📦 Data integrity (products)

If the file contains non-existent products or disabled products, these will be automatically ignored by the mobile app.

📊 Sales and inventory rules

The quantity suggestions don't ignore the system's rules. The following will always be validated:

• Available stock
• Price lists
• Discounts and promotions

If any quantity isn't viable, the system will notify the salesperson when creating the order.

✍️ Data added by the salesperson

If the salesperson has already started creating an order, the system will maintain the quantities they previously selected manually.

When they click on "Add suggested products", only those products that they have not manually added to the order yet will be included, avoiding overwriting their progress.

🕓 Change history

All uploaded files are logged into the Massive change log.

From this section, you'll be able to monitor who loaded which files as well as download the original .csv file for more clarity.
