# Inventory movements

| Handy can help you keep a log of your product inflows and outflows.

To enable the logging of inventory changes, go to *Settings*, click on the *General tab, *and then activate the setting* Enable transaction logging for product inventory*:

Once the setting is enabled, inventory movements generated from that moment forward will be registered.

Movements generated *before* enabling this setting *will not be registered*.

To view the registered inventory movements of a specific product, go to the product's details and click on the *Inventory history* tab:

To view the changes made to the overall inventory, go to *Company inventories*, found in the Main Menu, then click on *Inventory movements*:

Here, you can filter movements by date, the user who made the change, the type of operation, and others:

###### The operations that will be registered in the inventory movements history are:
* Product updates
* Creation of orders
* Inventory updates
* Orders
* Orders with promotions
* Deleted orders
* Order returns
* Deleted order returns
* Return for product exchange
* Deleted return for product exchange
* Return due to shrinkage
* Deleted return due to shrinkage
* Route assignments
* Route reloading
* Restock for deliveries
* Received in warehouse
* Edited routes
* Assigned to delivery
* Completed delivery

||| Inventory movements are kept in the system for a maximum of 15 months. After this time passes, they're deleted and can't be seen again.
