Discount types

In Handy, there are three ways you can apply discounts. | The first method is related to the amount of product sold, which is divided into two categories: global and by product. | The second way is to apply a set percentage discount to a specific client.

Quantity discounts

You can find quantity discounts in the Main menu:

Discount percentage by client

This feature must to be individually enabled for each client in the client catalog. Go to your client catalog, select a client, and click on Edit.

In the Discount box, you'll specify the discount percentage for that client:

You can also do this in bulk by downloading the Excel template of all your clients and specifying their discount percentage in the Discount column. Learn how to create/edit clients in bulk by clicking here: Creating clients in bulk from the web portal

Now, the next time a user creates an order for that client, they will be automatically assigned their corresponding discount, which will be applied to the order's total.

Priorities when assigning discounts:

⚫️ Quantity discounts by product have priority over global quantity discounts, and they won't be combined.

⚫️ The discount percentage assigned to a client has the highest priority and will be applied over the two previously mentioned discounts.
