Credit route sales

Even though route sales are most commonly cash operations, there may be times when it's necessary to have credit route sales.

Route sales are defaulted to cash, but it's possible to modify this and mark them as credit sales. This must be indicated BEFORE completing the order.

IMPORTANT: Each order must be registered with one form of payment: cash or credit. It's not possible to create an order that combines both payment types. If a client wants to place an order where one part is paid in cash and the other using credit, you'll need to create two separate orders, one for each payment type.

Once products and their quantities are registered on an order, you must click on the three dots on the top right side of the screen to open the options menu. Here, choose the option Change payment type, then choose which one you want:

That's all you need to do to set an order to credit.

The route closure process will show the payments made, both cash and credit. Each order will keep a clear log of each payment type.

Any additional payments registered to past sales are also reflected, as well as applied to the client's pending balance.

You'll be able to view sales with pending payments in the following report: Credit balances
