# Convert leads into clients

The concept of "leads" is used to differentiate clients created by salespeople in the mobile app. This helps us distinguish between "official" clients and possible clients or "leads" identified by sales users.

You can change the client's status from the web portal or in the mobile app.

## In the web portal

In the *Clients* screen, identify the lead and click on *Edit*. There, you can specify whether or not the client is a lead. Don't forget to click *Save* to apply any changes made.

## In the mobile app when creating an order

When a sales user creates an order for a Lead, they will automatically be changed to Client. When saving the order, the user will receive a message warning them about this change:

## In the mobile app manually

If the administrator enables the following setting, mobile users will be able to convert leads into clients from the mobile app. This setting can be found in *Settings* > *Clients*:

After enabling this setting, in the app, the user can edit the client's details and find the option to convert leads into clients.
